Since he began his acting career in 2003, Karthik has acted as a lead in 4 feature films (3 English, 1 Tamil), 6 short films (which have made their way into film festivals across the US ), and 7 plays, out of which 2 plays were musicals which were also choreographed by him.  In addition to the above, he has also done TV shows with Discovery Channel and Animal Planet, a few commercials, and numerous runway shows.  In 2004, he also hosted Fashion Week in Washington DC and was the runner-up for "Model of the Year" amidst 36 contestants.  By day (and during the week) Karthik is a radar networks' engineer at the National Weather Service.  You can learn more about him at www.actorkarthik.com
